Born May 26, 1927, in New Rochelle, she was the daughter of Marie and James Gilday.
She was one of eight children and graduated from Alfred Leonard High School. She was a registered nurse, graduating from St. Mary’s (Hoboken). She enjoyed a long career in New Rochelle in pediatrics and geriatrics.
She married Bill Crumm, a U.S. Navy veteran and New Rochelle police officer, in 1951 and they had six children. They resided in New Rochelle. She was active in her church, the New Rochelle Elks and the Echo Bay Yacht Club.
She is survived by her children, Christine Gibian (David), Kathleen Crumm Satriani (Dennis), William M. Crumm (Cheryl), Eileen Crumm (David), Dorothy Visco (Mark)and Robert Crumm (Amelia); sister Fran Charters; sisters-in-law Geraldine Crumm and Joan Boudauine; and 12 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bill.
A private family service was conducted.
